Deep Thoughts

I've noticed some changes since becoming a full time, 9 to 5 type worker again.

I realized that today, when getting off work and walking to the car, I inadvertently whispered something to myself.

That something was "TGIF."

I am now the kind of person that unabashedly says TGIF and finds it completely acceptable.

Help.

You know that there are actually people who come to New York and are in Times Square and go to the Olive Garden to eat. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. When I went to Boston (By the way Boston sucks) I went to the North End for some Italian food. We zipped right past several well lit garish places that reeked of little Italy. I found this one joint on a side street with a dusty window display of a chipped statue of a saint and said, here we are. We walk in and the guy goes to hand me a menu. I said is this an Italian restaurant. He said of course. Then I said hey facime I just want to order some Italian food or you just pulling my prick... He said where the fuck are you from...I said Brooklyn...he called me a stroonz and I called him a chootch and we hit it off just right...the wife ordered gnocchi and I had veal and a good time was had by all...that's a real restaruant..not a freakin' olive garden you hicks....sorry pet peeve there!

Yeah when I moved to New York and saw an Olive Garden in Manhattan I about died. Here in California, Olive Garden is considered gourmet by most suburbanites.

I say TGIF every Friday! We both need help when Friday seems like the best day of the week. It could be worse. I never said TGIF when I waited tables.

Well, TGIF is easier to whisper to oneself than "Thank god it's a socially acceptable night to drink oneself silly and then sleep in until past noon the next day."

Hope you slept in a lot today. I sure did.
